It so happens John's having a dream. And it's likely that someone else is in there having the same dream.

It's a simple dream, really. John's just re-enacting one of those scenes from Con Air with the bunny. LIKE KARKAT SAW THAT ONE TIME What's he giving the bunny to? Probably you, or just putting it on the bed. He's just being weird.

Vriska arched a brow, watching from her perch on the tree branch outside his window. He was such a dork, even when no one was watching.

But this is it, the face to face meeting she's been preparing for since the plan for the Scratch came around. She's been holding off because she knows he won't recognize her the way she recognizes him. What if she freaks him out? Well, she can't sit here forever. So she flits off her branch, leaning in his window.

"Egbert, no matter how many times you do that you will never be able to replicate that rugged human from your movie."

Rose was drifting through the bubble rather aimlessly. Familiar and unfamiliar memories erected themselves around her as she traveled, then collapsed just as quickly. But eventually the scene with John resolved itself. Aha.

"Hello, John. May I ask why you choose snowmen as your benefactor of choice for this particular re-enactment?"

John, why are you giving her the bunny. She has no need for these things! She has already had one in her lifetime!
